In week 5 Broadgreen had their school swimming sports. Many did very well. There were 50 meter swims for A grade swimmers in breaststroke, freestyle, backstroke and butterfly over at Nayland pool! For B and C grade swimmers there were 25 metre races in the same strokes.
All the kids had so much fun and some got to go to interschools the next Friday in week 6!
In room 4 one person got into the interschools and that was Taylor!His results were:

For the past term room 4 have been reading an online interactive book called Inanimate Alice. We have written many summaries for four of the different episodes - there are five.
A summary is a quick easy way to sum up a story with a couple of sentences. We also had to draw Alice and write a summary about her.
The episodes are really long but it's worth it because it is a fun way to read a story. Some episodes have mini games which are really fun. The episodes feature all types of places like Russia and even England.
We learnt that to write a digital novel you have to do things that you can't in a normal book. The author gives you a task to be completed if you want to carry on to next page. Another technique they used was to make the music sound creepy. I strongly suggest that you read this story because you will have lots of fun.
